FREMONT STREET
In the heart of historic Downtown Las Vegas is the second most famous street in the city – Fremont Street, named in honor of John Charles Fremont – an explorer, American soldier, mapmaker, surveyor, and politician. Fremont Street dates back to 1905, when Las Vegas was founded. Since then, it has been the site for numerous films and TV shows. Fast forward to 1995, when the world-famous Fremont Street Experience opened. It covers five city blocks with direct access to eight casino hotels. Every year at least 26 million people visit this pedestrian mall and attraction to take in the free shows on Viva Vison – the world's largest video screen.
Surrounding the Fremont Street Experience is a vibrant Las Vegas nightlife with concerts, rooftop bars, eclectic eateries, and attractions like the 12-story SlotZilla Zip Line, Mob Museum, and Neon Museum and dozens of entertaining street performers. Downtown is the urban core of the city.
No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without visiting Downtown – where it all began!

Legacy Club at Circa
In addition to Stadium Swim, the Circa Resort is also home to the Legacy Club. This 8,400-square-foot elegant rooftop lounge is 60 floors above the city and offers spectacular views of the Vegas Valley. Inspired by Las Vegas' founding fathers, Legacy Club pays homage to the visionaries who helped put Vegas on the proverbial map. It is the ideal venue for a sophisticated Stag or Stag Do party with its laidback vibe and mix of speakeasy tunes and classical jazz. Surreal Nightlife recommends Legacy Club from some Las Vegas drinking. It showcases master mixologists who create innovative cocktails with new twists on the old classics.
Golden Nugget

Fremont Street Experience Stages
The best place to see free live music in Las Vegas is on one of the 3 stages along the Fremont Street Experience. The Main Street Stage is located between the Golden Gate Hotel and Circa Resort. The 1st Street Stage is between Circa and Binion's Gambling Hall, and the 3rd Street Stage is near Fremont Street, the Four Queens, and The D Hotels.
Street Performers
Downtown Las Vegas is where you will see a variety of street performers regularly performing, posing for pictures, and working for tips. Las Vegas Street Performers are a lot of fun and run the gamut of entertainment from caricature artists, fortune tellers, and break-dancers to singers, rappers, musicians, magicians, and mimes.
