Why Bottle Service is Expensive?
It is, and it isn't, but first, let's discuss what bottle service means. Bottle Service is the ultimate VIP clubbing experience at the hottest Las Vegas nightclubs. It's a status symbol and garners lots of attention from envious onlookers.
By definition, it means that the customer chooses to purchase their alcohol by the bottle. You will pay a premium for a bottle to reserve a section in the club, but it eliminates you having to stand in long lines at a crowded bar waiting to order individual drinks.
So why is it so expensive? With bottle service, you're paying for comfort, convenience, and VIP treatment which far outweighs the hefty price tag of the bottles. You and your party get a private table for the evening – a place to hang and store your personal belongings – Las Vegas security for your section, a busser, expedited entry – no waiting in long lines and no cover charge – and your bottles are served tableside by your beautiful, personal cocktail server with complimentary sodas, assorted juices, and all the appropriate garnishes.
Depending on the nightclub or Las Vegas pool party, Bottle Service can cost anywhere from $350 - $10,000+. I know what you're thinking, you can get that outrageously overpriced $795 bottle of vodka for $40 bucks at the liquor store, but you have to remember, bottle service is all about the VIP experience. It's big fun, a great way to meet some Vegas girls, and an unparalleled experience for a girl's/guy's night out or an epic bachelor party or bachelorette party.

Why Nights Clubs Sell Bottle Service?
These pool parties & nightclubs have to bring in big-name DJs and artists to draw people in to fill these massive venues. Most people don't know that the "performers" with a couple of radio hits cost an arm and a leg! We don't know the exact figures, but rumor has it guys such as Drake and Calvin Harris get up to 1 million dollars per show. Your next level down is quite a drop from a mil; guys such as Migos, Tiesto, Kaskade, Zedd, and Martin Garrix get paid north of $300K per show.
If you are a club operator, you have expenses such as security, alcohol, licenses, utilities, staff, and insurance, to name a few. Then toss in the massive talent expense, and you are multiple six figures in the whole before the night even starts. The venues make money on tickets, cover, drinks, bar cards, the Las Vegas Party Pass and of course, they try and maximize the expensive bottle service to offset the costs and try to squeak out a profit
Minimum Spend Requirement
All Vegas nightclubs operate on a minimum spend requirement system (or "min," for short) for Botte Service, meaning the customer must either reach or exceed the amount set for their minimum spend. The table doesn't cost a separate fee, but the better the location, the higher the minimum spend requirement. To reach this minimum requirement, the customer can order anything from the beverage menu (bottled alcohol, cases of beer, bottled water, Red Bulls, etc.; all count towards your minimum requirement).
Typically, group size is a factor in raising the minimum spend. The larger the group, the more accommodations the venue has to provide for the same VIP experience. For example, a bachelor party of 15-20 people will require a larger space and more staff service than the typical customer. Thus, the minimum would be much higher than a customer with five people in their party.
Big events and certain times of the year, such as national holidays and Hallmark holidays like Halloween, typically trigger larger events and performances and drive more people to come to Las Vegas. Rates on these dates are usually higher due to the higher increase in demand. In other words, the same pricing on a random November weekend won't likely equate to the same price quote you might get on Memorial Day or Labor Day Weekend.
Bottle Presentation and is Bottle Service Worth the Price?
In America, many have coined the phrase: "poppin bottles," and getting a prime table at a club or pool is synonymous with a show of wealth to the opposite sex. Guys and sometimes ladies like to "show off" in a club to attract attention. If a customer can drop $5k-$10k or more at a club, then more than likely, they can afford other nice things that life has to offer.
Many tables that are not five figures in the club are sold to customers who just want to have a place to party for the event and potentially have a place to "rent" to pull talent from the crowd. Generally, you will find if you have a table, the odds of meeting someone at an event increase significantly.
