About Brian Pfeiffer & Surreal Nightlife

Independent hosting is a sexy but very serious business, especially in Las Vegas. You can't just be any person off the street and hope to work with these nightclubs; you need a gaming license, you must pass an FBI background check, go through a lot of bureaucracy, and own a legit company (State LLC) to do business with them. You also must have the pull, the right contacts, and relationships built on trust in order to work a deal.
I started in this business as a front door host in 2000, and 20 years later, I worked my way up to become a major player in the nightlife industry. While I still have ownership in a club in Chicago and own a large Chicago-based Halloween and New Year's Event Company my home has been in Las Vegas since February 2013 when The Hakkasan Group moved me to the city to be their promotions manager for both Wet Republic and Hakkasan. Nearly one year into my Vegas Adventure, I had enough customers to start my own independent hosting company – Surreal LLC.
I do well in this business because my company is reputable, I exceed my customer's expectations, and most importantly, I have the proper licensing. I am licensed by the Nevada Gaming Commission; here is a snap-shot of Nevada gaming licenses and to my Clark County Professional Promoter business license. We also have 100's of 5-star reviews.

A few words of advice, before you book any Bottle Service, please make sure you are working with a licensed company like mine and someone who knows what they're doing and who will go above and beyond to make your experience an amazing one! Trust me when I say I know how to throw a great party. I live and breathe this business 24/7; it's my passion! Understand, we are working for YOU and not the clubs. With my years of event and clubbing experience and hundreds of connections, your Vegas Vacation will be better than anything you ever imagined.
Because of our strong relationships with the upper management and some of the VIP Hosts, we can deliver exceptional service.

If you're looking forward to a day of chilling poolside, soaking up the sun, imbibing in refreshing cocktails, and listening to fantastic music, one of the best options in Sin City is the beautiful Bali-inspired AYU Dayclub. AYU DJs, Artists & Music

AYU is a top-tier pool party event to attend in Las Vegas. The big hitters for this party usually play at the pool by day and Zouk by night. For the most part, the music will be a combo of electronic dance music and some trap-house remixes. The big hitters are Deadmau5, DJ Snake, Tiesto, Zedd, and Cash Cash. Check out all the AYU Dayclub Events and enter the dates you will be in Sin City. The party gets wild and crazy in the pool; lots of laughing, splashing, and having fun!
Where is the VIP Check-in?

Walk up, and if you have a table reservation with us, we will escort you in. Tables, tickets, and guestlist signage indicate your line you will enter on the right for tables. On holiday weekends and big performance days, we recommend arrival before 11:00 am. Signage will point you to one of three lines, tickets, guest list, and tables. The guestlist line can be ridiculous with 1-4 hours waits!
What is Bottle Service?

By definition, Bottle Service means purchasing alcohol by the bottle instead of buying a drink. American clubs, especially in Las Vegas, are synonymous with "Poppin Bottles." You will be paying a premium for a bottle to reserve a section in the Club, but it includes a personal server VIP entry into the Dayclub.
The cost of a bottle is the same as nighttime little sister Zouk. Usually, an assortment of standard mixers includes cranberry juice, soda, tonic, orange juice, pineapple juice, and soft drinks. Red Bulls and bottled water are available for an upcharge.
What's a Minimum Spend?

The minimum spend is the amount you agree to spend in advance on alcohol to get a table or real estate in the Dayclub. In Vegas, we call the minimum spend "the min." The better tables will have a higher minimum spend, and on bigger DJ days, you can expect a higher "min." Usually, for prime tables, a front bungalow, or poolside day bed, you will have to "shake" a.k.a. the Vegas Handshake, which is a tip to the host's podium for the specific location.
AYU Vegas Bottle Service Tables

Getting Bottle Service has its perks, from VIP entry to a personalized server and security for your section can make your big day out extra special. We walk you right past any lines with expedited entry. See our 3D map above or look at the 2D tap map with the table number so that we can discuss your booking.

BUNGALOWS
Premium Lower Bungalow (20 People)

If you are a customer who wants the best, you will want the premium lower bungalow. The section is right in front of the stage and has a private pool; this bungalow arguably is the best table in Sin City.
Lower Bungalow (20 People)

In season #2 they eliminated one of the lower bungalows to add a couple of couches with private pool access, so now there is only one of these available. The section is great, next to the premium bungalow with access to the shared private pool.
VIP Sky Bungalow (20 People)

The biggest table in the venue is listed for 20 guests but can easily fit 30+, you get a bird's eye view of the party, but not much traffic on the mezzanine level.
STAGE
DJ Stage Tables (15 People)

If you like the girls who like to chase the DJs, you will find them at one of these two tables. They cost a small fortune, but you are rubbing shoulders with the artists and their entourage.
CABANAS
Premium Lower Cabana (12 People)

There are only 5 premium cabanas on the main pool deck; they are square boxes with some poolside footage; they are not all that big but being in the action and having a view of the DJ make up for the lack of size.
Tier 1 Cabana (12 People)

If you are looking at the DJ on the left, you will find a row of six cabanas that are elevated to give the customers a view of the crowd and DJ from the venue's back wall. These are pretty good and are set up to mingle with the other cabana guests.
Tier 2 Cabana (12 People)

Behind the small pool daybeds, you will find four cabanas that are kind of out of the action. These are not my favorite spots, as you can't see the DJ, and as soon as the main artist comes on, the area is a ghost town.
VIP Sky Cabana (12 People)

The upper Cabanas are roomy and have a nice view; they don't get a lot of traffic on the mezzanine; if you are a self-contained group, they can be decent if you are guys looking to meet girls, consider getting a section on the main pool deck.
COUCHES
Dance Floor Couch (6 People)

I like these; there are only two of them positioned right in front of the main pool and right behind the packed dance floor. If you want to be the center of attention, you will get it here.
Beach Couch (6 People)

There are poolside beach couches and "second" row beach couches around the main pool. Podium tips are usually required for the poolside couches; both rows of couches get a lot of traffic and are in the main pool action. All couches have a good view of the artists.
DAYBEDS
Tier 1 Day Bed (6 People)

Behind the second-row couches, if you are looking at DJ left, you will find the tier 1 daybeds. These daybeds are prime, and you can see the DJ. For the front row, plan on a podium tip.
Tier 2 Day Bed (6 People)

Nestled behind the small secondary pool is a row of five daybeds. A good value if you are on a budget and want poolside, the main issue is you can't see the artist perform, and this area vacates once the main act goes on.
Patio Daybed (6 People)

The lowest tier option is the three daybeds all the way in the back near the Fuhu restaurant patio. These can be nice on the pocketbook or if you want some privacy. Keep in mind you will need to bring your own party to these tables, as there is little or no traffic back here. You can't see the DJ from this area either.

$450 (15% to the server) |
$25 (Processing Fee) |
$17.56 (CC Fee) |
$0 ($0 Podium Tip for location) |
= $4158.34 |
This does not include any "shake" to the podium for location, express entry, specific table, etc. FYI, a "shake" can also help with a lower minimum spend, express entry, and a better table location. This option is not always available. When someone refers to the "shake," that means they tip on top of your table minimum and the tip, tax, and venue fee that you will be paying. (The "shake" or "handshake" to the podium goes into the host's tip pool).
In many instances, there is an opportunity to get lower-than-posted pricing online with what's called a "handshake" in Las Vegas; basically, it is a gratuity to the podium for a lower minimum and a potential upgraded location. Sometimes a podium tip is required for a particular table or even to get a location on certain days. There are some heftier podium tips needed when big hitters are in town, and it's a holiday or fight weekend.
AYU at Resort's Best Tables

Obviously, if you can afford the higher prices for the bungalows with the pools, those are the best tables. We've had days where we over-delivered on a table for a lower minimum, and our customers were ecstatic. For a reasonable price, we would say the poolside couches deliver, and they are an excellent party for the price - right in the pool action!
The Best Value Tables

It's hardly a "value" when a bottle costs $750 plus tip and tax totaling near $1,100, but if you just want a place to chill and hang out on a Friday or Sunday, you don't necessarily have to order a bottle. For a reasonable minimum, you can order food, beers, and drinks and still get a place to sit next to the smaller pool. On some Fridays and Sundays, when demand is low, you can get a decent spot on the tier 2 daybeds for a small minimum. Also, some Fridays and Sundays, we can get a deal on an upper cabana if you're a bunch of ladies.
AYU Vegas Bottle Service Menu
Below is the bottle menu; you will notice the inflation with the ridiculous starting prices:
Bottle Service Presentations

We have seen champagne sprays and ice cream trucks! Zouk Management is known for its over-the-top bottle service presentations. Check out the video above of a big one that we've had. Usually, you must order a minimum of $2,000 at once and some sort of champagne. However, this can change depending on the day and the artist. On some days, all you must do is ask for some sort of presentation. On bigger artist days, it's going to require a little bit more spend to make one happen. Just let us know if that's what you're looking for, and we can coordinate a presentation and potentially a LED display on the big screen.
Vegas Corporate Events

If you're looking to book a corporate event, just let us know, and we'll set up a proposal. Whether it's the pool party or the nightclub, we can make your event special. Many of our customers love renting out the Bungalows for their corporate events.
Get a Corporate Event QuotePool Parties for Couples

Several tables are perfect for smaller groups. They will typically have a low minimum spend and still be in the action. There might also be an opportunity to combine a couple with a larger group for the day. Hit us up, and we'll be happy to discuss it.

Since men book most of the bottle service, we book a lot of bachelor parties at this venue. We have some fantastic packages that include limos, brunch, and Vegas strip clubs. So, if you're looking for a package deal or a straight bottle service minimum, we can make that happen. We always do our best to try to get some Vegas girls to your table. It has been my unique selling proposition for years.

Bachelorette Parties at Resorts World

Not to forget about our favorite ladies, we book a surprising amount of bachelorette parties at AYU. Ladies love the cabanas or daybeds. On occasion, we also offer services to help get the ladies just past the VIP ropes. So, if you're interested in a package deal with drag brunch, all-you-can-eat-and-drink dinners, limos, and possibly a male strip club or male revue let us know, and we'll make your party fabulous.

Las Vegas Promoter and Girl-Guy System

I bet you have heard of a Las Vegas Promoter, but have you heard of a girl-guy? Certain elite promoters earn the title of the club's girl-guy. These "super promoters" are usually good-looking fellas that seem to have a way with the hottest girls in town. They have a big role in the venue's operations. They are tasked with making sure the guys spending the money have females at their table to mingle with 🤗!

We all know Vegas has a lot of bachelor parties, and a lot of the guys in the crew might be a little "rusty" when it comes to pulling talent to the section. The girl-guy typically will have dozens of girl comps, single hotties, and bachelorette groups to pull from a promoter table. They work for tips and bring more talent if the first round doesn't mesh well. I always like to help with talent, but some groups prefer the "hunt" on their own. Another option is to hire a couple of atmosphere models for around $400 for 4 hours; you can get some magazine quality models to hang with the boys all night, just let me know!
Book Atmosphere ModelsHow do I get my guests in if they arrive late?

Usually, this is a pretty straightforward process. Your guest(s) can walk up to the ropes and mention the name the table is under and the table number, and they get right in. Some exceptions could be if the club is at capacity and they just can't physically let anybody else in via the Fire Marshal's rules and regulations, or if you are way over your limit on the number of people at your table.
Note: This pool is strict on the number of people per table. If, for some reason, you have some uninvited guests at your table, be sure to get security to have them removed. I strongly suggest that you do not try to remove them yourself as an altercation could occur, and potentially everyone at the table will get kicked out. With over 20 years of experience in this business, please trust us; that is the best way to handle situations like this.
Other Venues from Zouk Group

Located at Resorts World, Zouk Las Vegas is one of the city's newest and most technologically advanced nightclubs. Also brought to you by the Zouk Group is RedTail - a social gaming bar where guests can enjoy drinks and sharable plates of contemporary Asian bites while playing games like pool, darts, and beer pong, plus FUHU – a 5,000 sq. ft. high-energy "vibe dining" restaurant and bar featuring contemporary Asian dishes.
Get a Multi-Zouk Group Venue QuotePrivate Pools

One of the coolest things about the bungalows is the private pools. Of course, they are expensive, but this might be a once-in-a-lifetime weekend. Usually, the top talent in the venue will be hanging out at the bungalows in the pools.
Pool Toys and Swag

They don't have pool toys in the main pools at the day party; they save those for the bungalows. The scenery is excellent, so breakout out the Snapchat and Instagram because you're going to see some craziness going on in the pool - you just never know what's going to happen. Either way, it's a wild party and great for some footage.
World Famous Waitresses

One thing's for sure; Zouk Group knows how to hire a world-class staff. The pool servers are some of the best-looking women in the world. When you join us at this event, you're in for a treat with the staff.
Quality of Crowd

Some people have the misconception that the pool parties in Vegas are filled with only models and fitness pros. If you were to look at the Club's website pictures, you might think it's a convention of perfect bodies, but that's not the case. Nowadays, the biggest clubs pay a lot of money for big-name DJs and have to sell a lot of tickets to cover the expense; in other words, anybody can buy a ticket. That's not to say if you have a bottle service reservation that you can't find some quality girls or guys, but for the most part, you'll find the best-looking people in the cabanas or bungalows.
What is AYU Dayclub's Dress Code?

Swim attire only! They are dead serious about this! We have sent many customers to the Resorts World Mall or back to their rooms to get the proper apparel. Anyone wearing chains, baggy clothing, ripped or cut-off clothing, see-through clothing and clothing with studs and hooks, cargo shorts, khaki shorts, jerseys, pants, undergarments, and any athletic gear will NOT be allowed in. Sunglasses and hats are permitted. Ladies, you will need cover-ups for your swimsuits and bikinis to go to and from the pool.
Vegas Pool Dress CodeWhat do Drinks Cost?

Drinks vary in price at the bar. AYU is above the industry standard of pricing for drinks; they range from $12 - $20 per drink and Beers from $10 - $15 each. They have the crazy large plastic cup and straw combo that costs around $80. Individual 1L Bottles Start at $750 plus, and bottle service minimums typically range from $750 - $15,000+ before tax, tips, and fees.
Guestlist versus Tickets for AYU Pool Vegas?

The Guestlist lines up to the right if you're looking at the front door. One of our good buddies is the main promotion manager and top promoter. The rules change each day, depending on the artist performing. A good rule of thumb is you must arrive before 3 pm. But generally, you'll find ladies are free, and guys with even ratio are typically free on the AYU Dayclub guestlist. Another option is club tickets for the sin city pool clubs. An important tip to remember, AYU Dayclub tickets guarantee entry, and the guest list does not.
Here's what you can expect on the guest list:
Friday and Sunday | Saturday | |
---|---|---|
Males | Free Entry before 3 am check-in | Free or Discounted Admission (depends on headliner – early arrival recommended) |
Females | Free Entry before 3 am check-in | Free Entry (early arrival recommended) |
Here's what you can expect for Tickets:
Friday and Sunday | Some Fridays/Saturdays/Some Sundays | |
---|---|---|
Males | $30-$40 | $30 to $150 |
Females | $20 | $20 to $50 |
*Early arrival is required for Saturday events, especially with big headliners. Guestlist details are subject to capacity – if the club hits near capacity with the lines outside still full of people, the pool may decide to start charging people early.
Get on The AYU Dayclub GuestlistSuppose you're planning on attending a big event and can't get there early. In that case, you might want to investigate purchasing general admission tickets in advance to avoid paying the highly inflated price at the door and to guarantee your entry. Pre-purchased tickets automatically guarantee access to the venue; the Guestlist does not!
Get AYU Dayclub TicketsSurreal Tip: Nightclub and Pool Party guestlists are geared more toward female patrons. All-female groups typically have a little more leeway for arrival time on big days, while groups with males in their party might not have the same time luxury. 📲 Contact us to find out what the best course of action is for your group by filling out a form.
Insider Tip: Did you know that some nightclubs offer girl comp tables and open bar for ladies? It's true! Check out our complete guide to Las Vegas Open Bar Deals.
Zouk Group Security

Before entry, all guests are required to empty their pockets (for ladies, they will look in your purse), submit to a metal detector test, and make sure everyone entering is not bringing in anything dangerous. It's equivalent to going through the TSA line at the airport. This applies to all guests, whether you are going in with general admission or a table.
Pro Tip: If you purchased a table and some unwanted patrons wander in by accident, it is always best to have the security staff ask them to leave instead of doing it yourself to avoid potential conflicts. In the event of a confrontation between guests, both parties may likely be asked to leave. Security has the final say on such matters.
Las Vegas Security GuideWhat can't I bring into the venue?
Here are some things that you will be either asked to throw away or go back to your room to deposit before coming back:
Vapes – weed dispensaries are extremely popular and legal in NV, and vaping is in vogue, but most venues will not allow vapes inside their premises. They will ask you to bring it back to your room or throw away the cartridge inside, even if it isn't a CBD cartridge.
Outside Food/Beverages – finish your food and drinks before you get in the line.
Camera equipment – the only recording equipment you are allowed to bring is the one on your phone. Digital cameras selfie sticks are not allowed into the venue.
Packs of gum – this only applies to day clubs, which tend to be a lot stricter about checking everything that goes into the venue, but guests have been known to try and sneak drugs inside packs of gum to get them into the venue, so expect to have your gum taken away at the door.
Prescription medication (or anything resembling pills) – if you need your prescription while inside the venue, you will have to bring the prescription and explain what the medicine is for; otherwise, expect to get pulled to the side.
Oversized bags – anything larger than a lady's clutch purse will be denied into the venue. This applies to most backpacks, gym bags, totes, etc. While most hotels can hold onto your luggage at the bell desk, AYU has lockers, and they are pricey!
There is a set of lockers immediately behind General Admission as soon as you enter. They are 18" x 12," and if you use one, you will have access to it throughout the day.
FYI, people seem to congregate around them and block the walkway, so they can be a bit challenging to get to. Lockers are not cheap, last time we checked, they were in the $60/day range, but we would much rather you rent one than have your belongings lying around the pool deck.
Brian Pfeiffer's Final Word
There you have the most thorough guide to AYU Dayclub in Las Vegas. The party is solid, and they will live in die by the big DJ, hence why they signed Deadmeau5 in year #2. Without a big headliner on a Friday or Sunday, the other pools in town hold an edge. Think of the more established names such as Encore Beach Club, Tao Beach, Marquee Dayclub, Stadium Swim, Wet Republic, and Drai's Beach Club. The venue is one step up from Élia Beach Club, Liquid Pool Lounge, Daylight, and Azilo Ultra Pool but only time will tell if their promotion team can pack the place without a $300K artist booking.
I have noticed an uptick in inquiries for this season, which is expected when more and more people hear about the party. Ronn Nicolli and the team do a great job marketing the events, but the competition is fierce in Sin City. The 1st season struggled to find decent female talent here, mainly due to a lack of an in-house promotions team. I booked several of the best bungalows and cabanas with my customers, and if it weren't for the ladies I invited, we would have been hanging with only the "boys" all day. If you are spending $20k+ on a table, the venue should be able to figure out how to make sure the crew is loaded with talent. I always do my best to help out, but I am not a miracle worker. Hopefully, this season the talent and off days will improve, and I will start saying this is one of the top-tier venues.
If you are looking for a topless pool check out Bare Pool Lounge, Sapphire Pool, or Moorea Beach Club these adult oriented pools offer the ladies “toptional” sun bathing.
