How to Prepare for a Mobile Spray Tan
We suggest you wax or shave and exfoliate before your tan to ensure your skin is hair-free, smooth and that all the dead cells that can clog the skin have been removed. This will help your spray tan last longer.
Your Tan Day
If you plan to shower on the day of your tan, we recommend at least three hours before and do not apply any lotions, perfumes, makeup, or deodorant. After the tan, wear loose-fitting clothing so you don't rub off the tan, and wear something dark in case the product bleeds through a bit.
Taking care of your spray tan will make it last longer. For the first night, sleep in dark clothes, avoid silk sheets or garments and do not exfoliate or use harsh soaps or lotions. Moisturizing is vital and helps give your skin glowing.
What Happens to My Spray Tan in Water?
Wait 4-8 hours before showering or swimming to keep from diminishing the color of your tan. During your first shower, likely some of the bronzer will wash off, but this is normal.
