Strip Club Etiquette Las Vegas
Las Vegas Strip Club Etiquette is a topic that is not often discussed, but that doesn't make it any less important because it is extremely important! A good rule of thumb, remember, you are at a Las Vegas Strip Club, so be a gentleman!
In "Sin City," we have a huge amount of Gentlemen's Clubs, which are all similar regarding specific tips. In my Step-by-Step Guide, I will take you through seven of the most important things you need to know to make your experience a better one.
Tip #1 Complimentary Transportation
***Important Information*** We are direct partners with all the Gentlemen's Clubs in Las Vegas. So, when you book with us, we will send a vehicle from the strip joint with the Club's logo and the driver will have your name and cell number because the order was booked in advance. It is imperative that you get into the vehicle that we send!
The limo, taxi, Uber, and Lyft drivers get paid to bring people to these gentlemen's clubs. So, if you take third-party transportation, you will have to pay for the ride, and then the club will stick you with a $50-$100 cover at the door, and you will not get any perks like free drinks. The $50-$100 fee you get charged at the door gets kicked back to the driver, so not only are you paying for the ride, but you're paying for his kick-back. This money you wasted unnecessarily could be going to drinks and lap dances. Most of our packages include a ride, several perks like two free drinks, VIP entry, etc. so I cannot stress this enough, please get into the vehicle that we send from the titty bar.
Las Vegas is what we call a Den of Thieves, and the drivers out here are the worst of them all. They will lie to you and tell you they work directly for the club when they don't. The moral of the story is to make sure the driver knows your name and number before you get into any ride and the vehicle has the strip club logo on it.
Big Tip: When we say "complimentary transportation," please understand that it's for the ride itself and does not include a tip to the driver. Please be sure to take care of your driver.
#2 Strip Club Dress Code
We have a section devoted to Strip Club Dress Codes in Vegas. These are general rules of thumb for all of Vegas' upscale Gentlemen's Clubs. Common sense dictates, "dress to impress!" Stylish jeans, dress pants, and dress shoes are considered proper attire. The strip joints are less strict than the Las Vegas Nightclubs as far as shoes go, so generally, a fashionable pair of sneakers – All-Star or Vans - will do the trick.
Here are the "NO-NOs" List: No opened-toed shoes, no flip flops or sandals, no tank tops or sleeveless shirts, no white t-shirts, no jerseys, no sweatpants, no baggy clothes, no athletic gear, no shorts, no bandanas, beanies, or do-Rags.
Tip #3 Strip Club Etiquette
For the most part, Las Vegas is a no-touch City when it comes to the Las Vegas Strippers. That's not to say that some touching doesn't happen. The best advice we can give you is to let the dancer take the lead, and if she wants to put your hands on certain body parts of her body, that's okay. But being what we call a "Grabby Joe" is a great way to meet the unfriendly Las Vegas security on the wrong side of the fence. Common sense will tell you that the more money you spend to get a private show, the more likely you are to get personal with an entertainer. We talk more about tipping in the section below.
Tip #4 The Women Pay to Be There
Most people who come into a Gentlemen's Club don't understand how it works with the entertainers. Every girl is an independent contractor, which means she is in business for herself. When she arrives at the titty bar, she will get charged a "house fee," which she will have to pay to work at the club for that night. Vegas Strip Clubs make a good chunk of their money via these fees. The fee is based on the time of day or night she shows up; house fees can range up to $100 per girl during peak hours. The ladies also have to tip the house mom, who helps with various things in the backroom. Usually, the ladies will also have to tip a VIP Host or two depending on if they helped them get business and possibly the DJ if songs were being requested. So, to sum things up, for one of the entertainers just to walk in the door, she is probably looking at a $100 house fee plus $100 in tips to break even for that particular day or night.
Understanding this might give you a better perspective of why their time on the floor is money. These ladies don't go to work to lose money; they are there to turn a profit, and you're there to get entertained; this means the entertainment is not free.
If you like a girl's show onstage, consider tipping her. If the entertainer has a conversation with you, especially a lengthy one, consider tipping her. Every minute that girl spends on the floor, she is on the clock and has to be making money to turn a profit in her business.
The girls who do well in this profession are professional hustlers; they've been doing this for a long time and know what to say and how to get guys to spend money to hang out with them. In other words, this works both ways, so make sure if you agree to something with one of the entertainers that it is clear as day as to what you'll get and what it will cost. The last thing you want to do is run into a confrontation or disagreement on negotiations and have security get involved. It's also common courtesy to tip on top of whatever you agree. For example, if you do a $100 VIP back room, and you consider the show quality, then a $20 tip is warranted. Keep in mind that all the staff working at these clubs are there to make money as well. You have your VIP Hosts, transportation driver, bartenders, servers, and bathroom attendants. So, make sure you bring enough money for your beverage consumption, tips for the entertainers and anyone else involved with showing you a good time.
Booking Las Vegas Strippers
Well, no doubt some of these showstoppers would add flair to any convention or private event. We have an elite staff of top-tier, print-quality models who we work with, and we will be happy to set up your next corporate event or afterparty. Our models are perfect for passing out flyers and swag at a convention booth, entertaining guests at an afterparty, as an atmosphere model for a bachelor party, or private events in your suites. We also have topless servers and bartender options.
Tip # 5 The Funnel System
If you've ever made an online purchase, you've likely been through some marketing funnel. The way funnels work is typically, you buy an initial product for a relatively low dollar amount, and then they try to upsell you to more of the same product, or another product, faster shipping, etc. So, ultimately before the initial transaction finishes, you've spent more money than you had originally intended. All the Gentlemen's clubs in Las Vegas have a similar funnel system.
Stage #1 The Stage
The first stage of the funnel is a pretty girl on a stage doing a show to attract your attention. That cost is anywhere from free to a few bucks if you like the show.
Stage #2 The Lap Dance
The next stage of the funnel is to get a lap dance in the Main Room for a fee of around $20. You will get one short song's worth of attention from the entertainer.
Stage #3 The VIP Area
This is where things can get a little more expensive, and the lines between reasonable and "What am I doing?" blur. At this point, you've committed to spending some time with the dancer. Typically, the cost is at least $100 for approximately one 20-minute session. That might not be the only fee you'll incur, as the strip club is also looking to get part of these upsells. Generally, you will have to spend a minimum dollar amount, either two drinks, an expensive bottle, or something that will go into the house's kitty.
Stage #4 A Private VIP Room
Now that you've reached the top of the funnel, it's time to empty your pockets or break out the plastic. The entertainer has achieved her goal of up-selling you to a high-ticket offering. To secure a private room, the dancer will have an hourly rate. The fee is approximately $500 per girl for one hour. And then, of course, the club has to make some money, so expect to pay some minimum spend of around $500 here as well.
Tip # 6 The Strip Club ATMs
Heads up! This tip will save you a lot of money. Normally when you head to an ATM in a nightclub, Las Vegas pool party, or casino, it's overpriced. You will have to spend $10 to take out $100, but that fee can be even higher at a Las Vegas Gentlemen's Club. We've seen ridiculous ATM charges – upwards of $25! On top of that, your bank will stick you with a fee on the back end. Our best advice is to bring a wad of cash, leave your debit/credit card at home/hotel and limit your spending for the evening just in case things get out of hand.
Tip # 7 The Strip Club Money
Every Strip Club has some type of internal money banking system. The system was invented to curb the demand for people looking to tip with $1 bills and for the Club to make extra money. The issue with the internal system is when you start with USD 100 and cash it in to get $100 in "Strip Club money," they take a 10% rip, and you end up with $90. But that's only part of it. Then when the ladies go to cash in the titty bar money, they also get hit with a transaction fee of about 10%. So, that original $100 has turned into $80 in funny money, and the house cut is twenty real dollars just for being the bank. We like to get the most for our money, so consider bringing a lot of cash, saving that $20 that goes to the house per $100, and using it for an extra lap dance.
BONUS TIP
Nowadays, everyone carries a pocket computer with a camera to take pics and record videos. Those are great outside the strip joint but have zero value in the venue. You're not allowed to take pictures or record any of the activities going on inside the club. The place is loaded with gorgeous top-tier women. We highly doubt you'll find anything on your phone better than what's going on in real life. So, leave the phone in your pocket and enjoy the show.
